Analysis on Domestic Research Trend of the Art Therapy for Traumatized People

Abstract
This research is to seek for developmental direction of study in the field of traumatization-related art therapy by analyzing the trend in art therapy research for those who have been traumatized and to provide with foundational data needed for research foundation. The results of this research can be summarized as follows. First, examining year of the announcement or data type, the art therapy research has the largest portion with 78.0%, published academic dissertations were majority with 54.6%. Second, as a result of analysis on study object, dissertations intended for elementary school students had the largest portion with 30.5% within age grouping, dissertations intended for females were 51.1% within gender grouping, domestic violence was the largest with 27.7% within traumatization grouping. Third, as a result of analysis on method of study, qualitative research has the largest portion with 61.1% of research. Fourth, examining trend of research by contents, blend type which incorporates more than one theme was 29.8% within research theme. In form of research, group object with 49.6%, the total number of therapy sessions with 11~15(29.1%), duration time per session with 31min~1hour(44%), and the number of therapy per week with once a week(44%) were the largest portion. Finally, the research discusses the meaning and implication of the study result and proposes a suggestion for a follow-up study.
